Spirit Week’s Close – Class Color Day

Spirit+Weeks+Close+-+Class+Color+Day

As spirit week comes to a close all of the classes showed up and showed out wearing their class color. Seniors came in bodacious blue, juniors modeled riveting red, sophomores dressed in passionate pink, and the freshman kicked off their first spirit week in outgoing orange.

The last event of the week was the Olympics. In this event, students competed in a series of games on the field that accumulated spirit points. Tensions were high as everyone was chanting and cheering for their grade.

There were many games, but the ones that stood out the most was the game including water and a bucket. There was a three-way tie between the seniors, juniors, and sophomores. The seniors started to cheer thinking they had won but then the freshman crowd erupted as loud as they could signifying their victory.

Class Color Day is a great engaging way to end spirit week. Around every corner is either someone in a tutu representing their class color or someone covered in body paint. Spirit Week is a fun way to let loose as the year picks up and a good reminder to have fun. This year’s spirit is one for the books, and it’s just the beginning!
