As the winter season starts, Starbucks releases their holiday drinks! Each year they bring back old holiday favorites, while introducing new drinks for all to love. These new drinks have something for everyone from sweet drinks, to super caffeinated ones, to gingerbread flavored ones. 

1. Caramel Crunch Late 

This drink is a mix of espresso and steamed milk with a sweet caramel syrup that is topped with a crunchy caramel-toffee topping. Perfect for any caramel lovers. I love this drink but it is very sweet. If you don’t like very sweet drinks but want a similar vibe I would get an iced caramel macchiato. 

2. Egg Nog Late 

This drink combines a latte with creamy eggnog and lightly spiced with nutmeg for a classic holiday flavor. Nina Pernice ‘26 says, “This drink was so disgusting, I do not recommend it. Just drink either coffee or eggnog. Don’t put them together”.

3. Chestnut Praline Latte 

This drink blends espresso with steamed milk with a chestnut praline syrup. It’s topped with whipped cream and is spiced with praline crumbs. Rowena Bolton ‘27 says, “ I love this drink. It has such a holiday/winter vibe.”

4. Peppermint Mocha 

This drink is a holiday classic, it combines a latte with mocha sauce and a peppermint flavoring. It’s topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Rowena Bolon ‘27 says, “It was a delicious drink that had a nice balance with all the holiday flavors I enjoy. However the peppermint slightly over powers the coffee”. 

5. Iced Gingerbread Chai

This drink combines bold black tea with gingerbread syrup and milk. It has ginger and cinnamon spices. Jray Watts ‘26 says, “It’s really yummy, I like all of the cinnamon flavors in it because it literally feels like I’m drinking the spirit of Christmas. The drink makes her very really jolly!”

6. Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha 

This drink is a latte that has a smooth white chocolate with a refreshing peppermint flavor. This drink is very similar to the peppermint mocha. But drinking it is a completely different experience. 

7. Iced Sugar Cookie Latte

This drink is a latte with a sugar cookie flavored syrup. It’s topped with holiday sprinkles that add that holiday spirit. This drink is my favorite out of the 7 drinks. It is very similar to an iced latte, so if you want a cheaper option I would recommend getting an iced latte and top it with the holiday sprinkles.
