An UnBelizeable Trip

Students conduct field-research trip to Carribean & Maya Mountains
An+UnBelizeable+Trip

From gigantic Whiplash Rays to armored White-lipped mud turtles to golden Vampire Bats, the trip to Belize for Frosh Science students is a magical adventure in ecology. On the Spring Break Belize trip, dragons do field research in the Maya Mountains and get a chance to explore parts of the Belize Barrier Reef, while immersing themselves in traditional Belizean culture. The students come away with a better understanding of field research techniques and tools to help protect the ecosystem in their own community. Students are accompanied by the beautiful flora and fauna of the Caribbean coast of Belize, including toucans, scorpions, orb-weaver spiders, kinkajous, and more!
