Return of the Dynasty

At the end of 2019 NBA when the Warriors faced the Raptors and lost to them, people speculated that it could possibly be the end of one of the most prolific and dominating dynasties in all of sports. Klay got hurt, Kevin Durant was injured and getting ready to leave Golden State and to top it off Steph had hurt himself as well. The next year during the 2020 season Stephen Curry and Draymond Green were both hurt and the team was in the hands of players that were not the championship team we were used to seeing. Even when Stephen Curry came back during the 2020-2021 season it was too late and the Warriors finished 9th in the conference after getting beat by Ja Morant and the Grizzlies. But, during this season we were able to see that the end of the Warriors dynasty did not end in 2019. As a matter of fact it was only getting stronger. With Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry out during the 2020 season it gave younger players like Jordan Poole a chance to develop and get better since he had a big role to fill along with other players like Kevon Looney. Even though they did not have the best season it was still good that these young players got the opportunity to develop on a bigger stage. Because these players were able to develop when Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green got back into the rotation the team is now almost unstoppable,Jordan Poole is even holding his own amongst Steph Curry and Klay Thompson themselves. The Warriors went from fighting to even participate in the Play-in tournament last year to not even having to worry about being in it this year. This act of redemption not only speaks volumes about the players and their work ethic but how good the Warriors as an organization are at developing their players. Things like this are not uncommon in the NBA teams go on losing streaks for a while before they finally have a good championship contending team but it only took the Warriors 2 years to not only rebuild their team but become championship contenders again. Not only do they have a championship team but when the time comes for the older players like Steph, Draymond and Klay to retire the team will be in good hands of the younger players that they took time to properly develop.
