Homecoming Essentials:
How tos, what is popular, jewelry, shoes, and most importantly, the dress. Trending colors, new additions of florals, less sparkles??, places to shop, want to fit the theme, you can wear purple, pink, yellow, maybe even green
Find your Fit:
Finding your perfect dress isn’t only about finding the right size and fit. The goal is to find what truly feels you and something that you feel comfortable in. Consider the strapless look if you are want to show off your shoulders and achieve a chic and sleek look. One that’s always been popular, you could try an A-line dress, which flatters almost everyone. Cut-out dresses are also on the rise, creating interest and drawing your eyes up.

Trending this Year:
Each year, we see a return in popular colors, and this year is no different, with the return of black, baby pink, and one on the rise, butter yellow. Colors I have been loving recently are white. Why limit it to only your wedding? Bright colors that you might turn your eye to are vibrant green, coral is on the rise, and might make you look tan, and metallics like gold and silver really make a statement. If you want to go with a darker color but still want to stand out, try a purpley maroon or a navy is always a classic. Another notable thing on the rise is easter dresses, which some have a mixed opinion on, but I think are cute. Try a floral look, maybe something flowy or structured. Corsets have been recurring, especially since they create shape. This year, you will be super on theme, look into wearing warmer colors, a pinkish purple, orange, and yellow, maybe even gold!

Places to Shop:
You can find the perfect dress anywhere, online, in a shop, at a vintage store, and you can even make one. Some of my favorite online shops that you can always find, just make sure you order in time. Princess Polly has a million different dresses, Lulus, and Babyboo are also great spots to find your dress if you are looking for something a little more unique. Check out some smaller boutiques.

How to Accesorize:
Now that you have your dress, the last thing you need is accessories. Shoes are something you want to show off, but also remember comfort, and maybe try to avoid stepping on a toe or two, and have separate shoes you wear to the dance. Jewelry is another important addition to making your outfit complete. Layering necklaces and bracelets is a must, and maybe throwing in a statement like chunky earrings or an armband. You also want to have a place to store your lip gloss and maybe a mini perfume, so a purse is a perfect last touch. Trying to match it to your shoes is a good move, and if you don’t want to take it away from your dress, a neutral colored bag is great for blacks, whites, nudes, and tans to tie your look together.
